By plane

The Lublin Airport is now under construction and will be open in December 2012. According to the authorities of the Airport, Lublin will have connections with european hubs:

  • Frankfurt or Munich,
  • London (LTN) (since 18-12-12), London (STD) (since 17-12-12)
  • Duesseldorf.

There will also be (probably) connections with:

  • Dublin (since 18-12-12)
  • Liverpool (since 1-4-2013)
  • Oslo – since 18-12-12,
  • Dortmund,
  • Milan (or Bologna).

You will be able to get to Lublin by plane from other Polish airports, namely from:

  • Gdańsk,
  • Poznań
  • and Wrocław.

The following connections will be announced soon.

The airport is located 12 km from the city: the journey to the center of the city takes: 15 minutes by train or 20-30 minutes by bus.

You can also fly to Chopin Airport in Warsaw and then get to Lublin by bus or by train. The Warsaw airport has connections with over 80 cities all over the world. Leaving Chopin Airport you can take:

  • ZTM Bus no. 175 to Warszawa Centralna bus-stop in direction: Pl. Piłsudskiego; the ticket costs 3,60 PLN; timetable: http://ztm.waw.pl/rozklad_nowy.php?c=182&l=2&q=175

  • train (since Juni 2012), or

  • TAXI: beware of cheaters, you should look for: ELE SKY TAXI, SUPER TAXI or SAWA TAXI; the taxi fare from the airport to the city centre is approx. 40 PLN (9 EUR)
